FLUID MANSION
Emirates Hills, Dubai, UAE
Type: Villa
Status: Under Construction
Scale: Small
Sometimes the context and conditions of a project create an opportunity where reality and imagination can move side by side. In the “Fluid Mansion” project at Emirates Hills, such an opportunity arose for us—a place where we were able to bring together architectural imagination and the timeless discipline of architecture at a shared point.
A house once shaped by past needs and tastes now—through the presence and vision of a new client—embarks on a path of transformation. Every house carries an identity, born of the lifestyle and culture of its inhabitants. And when ownership changes, that identity inevitably transforms as well. Thus, architectural renovation is not merely the restoration of a physical shell, but the creation of a new identity for a space destined to host a renewed way of life.
The previous project followed a monotonous and outdated scenario—a form that, rather than accompanying life, merely carried the weight of the past. Yet the perspective of the new client aligned with the aspirations of our team, and this synergy became the foundation for a new spatial narrative. A narrative where pure architecture and aesthetic artistry stood alongside the enduring principles of authentic design, allowing the house to be reborn as a new story.
We have always believed that if the client’s mindset drifts too far from our design approach, the collaboration cannot bear fruit. But here, architect and client met at a shared point, and the outcome was the birth of an identity that was not simply a renovation, but a re-creation—a contemporary yet grounded dream of architecture.
