The main building of the Bohem project was an old school in Tehran's Farmanieh neighborhood, a severely dilapidated school that no longer had a place to live. The new owner decided to turn the school into a hair salon with an attached residential unit, so that he could live next to his workplace.
Perhaps the girls from this school who are now older are going to come here to be more beautiful.
The nature of its form and behavior was formed for us from here, and it was decided to maintain the fluidity of the space from the entrance to the invitation to the backyard.
In this space, aesthetics play a functional role, and the volumetric elements embrace the school, as if it intends to preserve memories in all its tenderness and motherhood.
The ground floor of this project houses a beauty salon, and the lower floor, which is also smaller, houses a house facing the courtyard. The shells protect the privacy of the house, the courtyard serves the house and provides access from the courtyard to the upper hall through a staircase that extends like a skirt from top to bottom.
